LogixPro V1.6.1 Allen Bradley PLC Simulator

It is possible to do things with LogixPro that simply would not be possible using the classic PLC editing software. For example, having a simulation running inside of LogixPro’s rung editor. This means student access to simulations near instantaneous and without relying on a central computer. Using other standard PLC software with regard to ladder logic, simulations can only be run once the student has created his/her model and saved it, then opened the saved model on a PC. Then the student accesses that model using the PC without having to reenter the simulation. That’s using PLC’s.

LogixPro is exclusive to our company. There is no overlap between us and any other training company. Our goal is to provide instructors with the best, most powerful PLC software available, and help them reach their students. Abacus Technology Inc. has been a pioneer in PLC software.

LogixPro 500 simulates many Allen Bradley devices. It will simulate all of the devices with an MGD. If you know the settings for the device in the MGD look at the Devices Folder under Developer> Device Settings. And for some of the newer devices look in the ProSim-II section in the setup. IMPORTANT: For some older devices that require a different setting for ProSim-II to work with them you will need to use your own MGD logix file. If you don’t know which devices are compatible with LogixPro check the compatibility page at the top.

**NOTE**: The LogixPro simulator will not simulate all the available devices. Use the help function in SimLab to find the correct call out. SimLab will allow you to set parameters for Allen Bradley PLC Simulator. Check the help function to find the correct call out for simulating a specific Device.

Combine our ProSim-II programmable process simulations with a PLC Editor/Emulator which mimics Allen-Bradley’s (Rockwell) RSLogix 500, and you have LogixPro 500; a complete stand-alone PLC training system without the expense of a PLC.LogixPro 500 is the ideal tool for learning the fundamentals of ladder logic programming. The look, feel and operation of LogixPro’s ladder rung editor so closely mimics Rockwell’s world renown PLC editing software, that many need a second look to be sure whose editor they’re using. Of course the give-away is the window containing one of our ProSim-II Simulations. This is where LogixPro really out-shines typical PLC training setups employing a PLC connected to a handful of switches and lights. By graphically simulating process equipment such as conveyors, bottling plants, etc. in software, the synchronous and interactive nature of real industrial processes, presents the student with a far more realistic and challenging programming experience.
